Mrs. Sally A. Cook, 55, of Route 163, Canajoharie, New York died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 due to a brief illness at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 8, 1959 in Gloversville, NY, and was a lifetime area resident. Sally was a graduate of Gloversville High School and attended Skidmore College. Mrs. Cook was the Human Resource Manager for Access Transportation in Fort Plain. She enjoyed cooking, animals, and gardening. She was an avid Syracuse Orange fan. She loved spending time with her family and friends. On July 4, 2008, Sally was married to Edward J. Cook. Sally is survived by her husband Edward J. Cook of Canajoharie, NY; sons, Justin Murcray of Fort Plain, NY, Trevor and Hannah Murcray of Stratford, NY; daughter, Erin and Michael Pedrick of Johnstown, NY; step-daughter, Clarissa Cook of Canajoharie, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Jackie Primrose of Syracuse, NY; 4 grandchildren, Riley Murcray, Owan Yerdon, Wade Cook, and Jane Cook. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at 4:00pm at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY with Rev. Kenneth Dingman officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2:00-4:00pm at the funeral home. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Sally A. Cook may be made to the charity of one's choice.
