Obituary of Edwin Robert Erhardt

Edwin Robert Erhardt, 57, died suddenly at home in Canajoharie, New York on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. He was born on April 19, 1950 in Little Falls, New York, the son of Robert Henry Erhardt and Lana Horender Erhardt of Fort Plain, New York. He graduated from Fort Plain High School in 1969. Ed was employed at the Yankee Dollar Store and was the owner and operator of the Boiling Pot Cleaning Service for over 25 years. Ed was a very active Jehovah's Witness for over 40 years. He served as an elder in the Sharon Springs congregation for many years. Ed married Karen Hale on August 19, 1972. In addition to his parents, Ed is survived by his dear wife, Karen Erhardt; his sons, Michael (Renata) Erhardt of Lyon Moutain, NY, Patrick (Melissa) Erhardt of Chateaugay, NY and Gregory (Lydia) Erhardt of Canajoharie, NY; a sister, Mrs. Martha (Paul) Patulski of Fonda, NY; a brother, Charles (Tammy) Erhardt of Fort Plain, NY. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Oriana, Ewan, Collin, Argus, Joshua and Benjamin.
