To Garna's family, How well I remember the Beck and Marsh families as a high school student and basketball player first for Art Busche at Fort Plain and then on to Canajoharie for 3 years there. Brother, Larry and I had some great games in the middle and late 50's,what a competitor he was and his dad, Garner, never gave us a moment of peace when we played Ft. Plain. He was the greatest of Fan for his son. I remember when Alf Marsh and Garna married, they were both greatly admired by me as they were role models to look up to.I know heaven is better off than we are as they have another angel to look over us when we arrive. I too have type 2 diabetes and struggle every day with it. God Bless all of you,Garna is at home now. Larry Horning Former classmate1953-58y

Garna, you were indeed a shining star for so many years at the Manor. I'll truly miss you and our wonderful, long talks. Even with all the suffering you went through, you always thought of your family first. it was an honor to have known you. Bless your mom and and your family, for they have endured much. Today, heaven is brighter with the special light that shines from you. Carry on my friend, for now you'll suffer no more. My prayers are with your family.
