Obituary of David W. Darrow

Mr. David W. Darrow, 91, of Darrow Road, Sprakers, NY, died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Palatine Nursing Home.
Born on May 25, 1918 in Sprakers, NY, he was the son of George Darrow and Sarah Dievendorf Darrow. He was a graduate of Canajoharie High School in the top of his class. Mr. Darrow then continued on to Cobleskill Agricultural College, completing a two year program there. He had been a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Darrow was a lifelong dairy farmer. He worked on his parents' farm and eventually took over the operation of the farm.
He was a member of the Faith Bible Church in Sprakers, NY, where he faithfully served as the financial secretary, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the choir.
Mr. Darrow is predeceased by all three of his siblings, Albert Darrow, Clinton Darrow, and Ruth Hunt.
He is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews, as well as a number of cousins.
