Mr. Robert P. Prevost, 65, of Fort Plain, NY, died on February 6, 2024, at St. Mary's Hospital following a battle with lung cancer. Robert was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on November 21, 1958, the son of Robert Prevost and Joan Lyons Prevost, who predeceased him. 

In 1976, he graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone, NY. For the past 30-plus years, he has lived here in the Fort Plain area. Before that, he lived in Saranac Lake. He worked in various companies in the area as a printer.

He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed NASCAR, Led Zeplin, and mainly any sport, but was especially fond of the NY Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.

Besides his parents, he is preceded by his two brothers, Brett and Kurt Prevost.

Survivors include his estranged wife, Jacqueline Prevost; sons Robert Prevost, Chad Prevost, and Kristopher Prevost and fiance Whitney Masi; grandchildren Derek, Mykenzie, Penelope, Elijah, and Brooke; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation is under the direction of Fort Plain Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.

Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
