Rose MacRorie Mrs. Rose MacRorie, 62, of Lakeside Avenue, Amsterdam, New York, died, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, following a brief illness. Born on March 17, 1948 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of George Miller and Jenny Memrick Miller. She was a graduate of St. Johnsville Central School and had been a resident of the Fort Plain area from 1983 until moving to Amsterdam in 2005. Mrs. MacRorie worked as a night cleaner at Beech-Nut in Canajoharie, NY for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and watching TV. Mrs. MacRorie was predeceased by her parents and brothers, William, James, Charles "Bud" and Donald Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey L. and Daniel Gray of Sprakers, NY; sisters, Susan Calhoun of Fort Plain, NY, Betty Darrow of Mohawk, NY, Audrey Miller of Oppenheim, NY; brothers, Ted Miller of Dolgeville, NY, Leo Miller of Oppenheim, NY, David Miller of Mohawk, NY, Kenny Miller of Mohawk, NY; granddaughters, Morgan and Riley Gray; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in St. Peter's & Paul's Cemetery at a later date.
