Obituary of Robbie Lee Mason

Mr. Robbie Lee Mason, 63, of State Hwy 162 Sprakers, New York died on November 18, 2021 at Ellis hospital after a year long battle. He was born in Herkimer, NY, on January 20, 1958, the son of Wilson Marshal Mason and Marion Maine Smith. He attended Oppenhiem-Ephratah Schools. Most recently he has been self employed in construction and logging with his brother. Prior to that he had worked for Coke-Cola in Albany, NY. He had lived in this area his lifelong. Robbie loved fishing, hunting and camping, as well as eating food. On January 1, 2002 he married Jennifer H. Soltner. He is pre-deceased by his son; Robbie Lee Mason; Brother Wilson "Billy" Mason; and sister Candy Buck. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer H. Mason; Daughters Stephanie and her husband Michael Montanye, Amy Mason and Fed Chase, Christina and her husband Shane Dufresne; sons Joseph and his wife Jackie Mason, Dekota Mason, Robert Mason, Andrew Mason, Dylan Mason, and Chris Soltner; Sister Kathie Burton and her husband John; 1/2 brothers Mark Smith and Scott Smith; Grandchildren Jacob, Riley, Freddie, Lilly, Colton, and was looking forward to meeting Waylon in March of 2022. The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday November 22, 2021, from 10:00am-12:00 Noon at the chapel of Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. Following the visitation we will be assembling a procession to Fort Plain Cemetery where Robbie will be laid to rest.
