Obituary of Donald R. Beaver

Mr. Donald R. “Donny” Beaver, of Gloversville and formerly of 14 Wheeler Street, Canajoharie, New York died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. He was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, Class of 1955. He worked for Beech-Nut for many years and was also a bartender for the Valley Inn. Donny is a veteran of the US Army. Born in 1936, the son of Raymond Bever and Dorothy (Atkins). Mr. Beaver is survived by 3 sons, Dale, Philip, Joel; brother, Adelbert “Leon” Beaver; sisters, Betty Clifford and Barbara Lambert; 3 half-sisters, Sheila Whitbeck, Geraldine Istle, and Diana Abbott. Predeceased by his brother James “Jim” Bever. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY.
