Obituary of Gloria J. McClelland

Mrs. Gloria J. McClelland, 92, most recently of Carmel, Indiana died Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Carmel Health & Living Facility in Carmel, Indiana. Born on August 20, 1928 in Gloversville, NY, she was the daughter of Harry W. Mayette and Maybelle E. Booth Mayette. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and a resident of Gloversville and Palatine Bridge for 86 years before moving to Indiana. She was of Methodist faith. Mrs. McClelland was a member of the Eastern Star. Her parents predeceased her. Mrs. McClelland is survived by her daughters, Denise J. Munson of Indianapolis, Donna J. Horton (Larry) of Sierra Vista, AZ; grandchildren, Jason J. Horton (Marla) of Fortville, IN, Bradley Munson (Kristen) of Pendelton, IN, Lucas Munson of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Macie and Brooklyn Munson, Chase and Colton Horton. Burial will take place in Canajoharie Falls Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY.
