Miss Catherine “Cat” Siobhan Griffin, 26, of Main Street, Fultonville, NY died suddenly with her loving fiancé, Rodney Schrell, Jr. and faithful dog, Rex. Born on September 24, 1993 in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of Ron Griffin and Peggy Roth Griffin. She attended Potsdam and Herman-DeKalb High Schools. She had been a resident of Fultonville for the past year, previously residing in DeKalb, NY. She was of Christian faith. Cat liked music and being with friends. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Raven. She was predeceased by her “Nana”, Esther Griffin; uncles, John and Chris Griffin; and maternal grandparents, Joyce Nolan and Leo Nolan. She is survived by her father, Ron and Kaylenna; mother, Peggy; daughter, Raven; twin sister, Leigh Ann Storie; sisters, Nancie Santagio, Veronica Rose Richards, Heather Normoyle; brother, Chris Griffin; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 11:00AM, where she will be laid to rest with her loving fiancé, Rodney. We ask that everyone in attendance please wear a mask and practice social distancing due to the Coronavirus. Cat’s father would like to extend a thank you to Rodney and his family for the love and support that they gave her. It was that love and support that brought Cat a happiness and joy that she never had before.
