Mr. Kenneth R. Williams, 40, a resident of Oswagatchie Road, Palatine Bridge, New York died Saturday, March 12, 2011 at home. Mr. Williams was born in Amsterdam, NY on April 28, 1970, the son of Raymond W. Williams, Jr. and Joan Blowers Willoughby. He was a lifelong area resident. Kenny married Tanya Green on August 18, 2007 at their home in Palatine Bridge and have been together for 13 years. He was a mason and slip form operator for JJP Slip Forming of Middleburg, NY for the past ten years. He previously worked as a brick layer and paver for Syrstone, Inc.. Kenny has worked in construction since he was 18 years old. Kenny was a member of Local Union #2 and also a member of Operators Union #106. He enjoyed ice fishing, raising beef cattle with his wife and woodworking. Kenny loved music, gardening, hunting, riding 4 wheeler's and spending time with his family. Kenny is survived by his mother, Joan Willoughby of Fort Plain, NY; father, Raymond W. Williams, Jr. of Fort Plain, NY, wife Tanya Williams of Palatine Bridge, NY, 3 sons: Todd Hurteau, Kenneth "Ray" Williams, Jr. and Michael Wyatt all of Palatine Bridge, NY; 1 granddaughter, Hailey Williams of Fort Plain, NY and his extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 18th at Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc. at 20 Otsego St., Canajoharie, NY. , with the Rev. R. W. Williams officiating. Visitations will take place on Thursday, March 17th from 4-7 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted by his wife for future expenses.
