Mrs. PaulaJean E. Anderson, 65, of Burtonville Road, Sprakers, New York, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at her home. Born on January 6, 1946 in Niskayuna, NY, she was the daughter of Alfred Mastriana and Eleanor Gifford Mastriana, both of whom predeceased her. She was a graduate of Linton High School in Schenectady, NY. Mrs. Anderson was a longtime area resident, previously residing in Schenectady and Guilderland. She was of Lutheran faith. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Eastern Star Helderbergh Chapter #337 holding office of Associate Conductress, Burning of the Valleys Military Association and the 3rd Tryon County Militia. She enjoyed years of extensive genealogy research, cooking and sharing family holidays and celebrations. Paula was ALWAYS a loving, caring and feisty wife, mother and friend. On October 11, 1969 she was married to Bruce M. Anderson. Together they celebrated 42 years of marriage. Paula is survived by her husband Bruce of Sprakers, NY; daughter, Jamie L. & Glenn Bentz of Canajoharie, NY; son, Robert B. Anderson and Jill Kennedy of Guilderland, NY; brother, Alfred B. & Bonnie Mastriana; grandson, Daniel Good Bentz; aunt, Jean & Walt Thatcher; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
