Mrs. Marian Mykulak, 86, of Mary Street, Palatine Bridge, New York died, Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Palatine Nursing Home following a brief illness. Born on February 25, 1925 in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of Francis and Sadie Reynolds. She attended Sprakers Country School and graduated from Canajoharie High School. She spent most of her life in the area, living on Mapletown Road until her husband's death. She then moved to Palatine Bridge. Mrs. Mykulak was a mother and homemaker who loved to cook and dance. She enjoyed spending time with her family. On November 23, 1985 she was married to Andrew E. Mykulak. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2001. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Howard Simmons; sister, Eva Putman; brothers, Francis and Raymond Reynolds. Mrs. Mykulak is survived by her son, Edward and his wife, Deborah Simmons of Nelliston, NY; 2 brothers, Alton Reynolds of Sprakers, NY, Art Reynolds of TN; 2 sisters, Anna Diehl of Rochester, NY, Lenora Krutz of KS; granddaughter, Mandy N. Simmons of Gloversville, NY; grandson, Kevin D. Simmons of Nelliston, NY; and great-granddaughter, Khiana Vose.
