In loving memory of Jacilyn Renee Shafer Hill, 30, a beloved mother, daughter, and sister. Jackie passed away on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016. Born in Amsterdam, NY on September 6, 1985, she was the daughter of Richard and Sondra Shafer. She was a graduate of Galway High School, class of 2003. Jacilyn is survived by her beautiful son Anthony Villano, who was her pride and joy; her parents Richard and Sondra Shafer; siblings, Jill Keifer, Kaylee Shafer, Cassie Shafer, Matthew Shafer, and Emilee Shafer; Grandparents Marion Hohensheldt and Robert Shafer; nephew Gavin; niece Rylynn; her best friend Nicole Vacchio and her beloved dog Stanley; also many aunts,uncles, and cousins whom she all loved dearly. Her maternal Grandfather Edward C. Hohensheldt, and paternal Grandmother Maureen Shafer all predeceased her. Jackie was a loving and dedicated mother to her baby boy, as well as a loyal and loving friend, daughter, and sister. She loved to surround herself with loved ones. She always lit up the room with her vibrant personality and her contagious laughter. Her passion for animals and the outdoors was inspiring, she had such a caring nature. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday's and she had a great talent for cooking. She will be deeply missed, by all that loved her.
