Obituary of Beverly J. Miner

Mrs. Beverly Joan Miner, 76, of St. Hwy. 80, Fort Plain, New York died Friday, October 11, 2013 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness. Born on February 17, 1937 in Sharon Springs, NY, she was the daughter of Harvey Scrader and Marion Mallett Scrader. She was a high school graduate and had been a local area resident for the past 52 years, previously residing in Rockland County, NYC. Mrs. Miner was employed with Sharon Springs Imperial Sulfur Baths, Luxuary Mills, Rite Aid Pharmacy and Ames Department Store. Mrs. Miner was a Jehovah's Witness. On September 11, 1955, Beverly was married to Lawrence Joseph Miner, Jr. She was predeceased by 3 sister and 4 brothers. Mrs. Miner is survived by her 3 daughters, Patti Misterka, Nancy Griffin, Vanessa Miner; son, Paul Miner; 4 sisters, Shirley Bailey, Dorothy Egnaczyk, Ruth Fridow, Crystal Cartwright; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Palatine Bridge with David Tarbox officiating. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Beverly Miner may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078.
