Obituary of Carl E. Null

Mr. Carl E. Null, 56, of Reed Street, Canajoharie, New York died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at his home with his wife and family by his side. Born on January 28, 1957 in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of Edward Null and Ruth Scott Null. He was a graduate of Canajoharie Central School and was a lifetime area resident. Mr. Null was an employee of American Standard Co. in Central Bridge, NY. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1975-1979. Mr. Null enjoyed riding his 1970 Harley Sportster. He was a member of the Harley Rendezvous and a staff member for 17 years. Carl loved hunting. Carl was predeceased by his brother, Robert Null and sister, Debbie Null. Mr. Null is survived by his wife, Susan E. Null of Canajoharie, NY; step-daughter, Tennille Fox of St. Johnsville, NY; step-son, Michael Fox of Lewistown, ME; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY with Rev. R.W. Williams officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fort Plain Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Fort Plain VFW Earl Stock Post #3275 Memorial Squad and the US Navy. Contributions in memory of Mr. Carl E.
