Mrs. Laura Christine Fenty, 51, of West Main Street, Little Falls, New York died December 31, 2019 at her home. Born on October 20, 1968 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Lloyd Hosier and Leona Brewer. She attended High School in Schenectady and had been a resident of Little Falls for the past 5 years. She also lived in Nelliston and Fort Plain. Most recently Laura had worked for Denny’s in Herkimer as a short order cook. She attended Valley Alliance Church in Nelliston. Laura enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. She was an animal lover. On October 7, 2000 in Arizona, Laura was married to Arlington Fenty. Her sister, Dorothy Florance predeceased her. Laura is survived by her mother, Leona Brewer; husband, Arlington Fenty; sister, Barbara A. Hosier; nephews, Michael Florance, Marc W. Florance, Jr. and his daughter, great-niece, Madison Florance; close friend, Natasha Clouthier-Bouton; 3 cats; and a dog. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Noon at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY with Pastor David Prahst officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, January 14th from 10:00-12:00PM at the funeral home.
