Harold and I attended Canajoharie High school together from 1954-57,he was always one of the nicest classmates that I remember.A very quiet, but happy person who was a strong supporter of our many athletic teams. He very seldom missed any games, ever, regardless of weather, distance or time,a true "Redskin", through and through. It is my pleasure to have had him as a friend for those years. I know he was a strong person
& community.leader and a loyal friend to many,he will be missed by his family and many loyal friends through out the Mohawk Valley. My condolences to his whole family with a prayer of peace and acknowledge his commitment to so many. God's blessings upon you eternally,my friend Harold, and Chief, rest in peace until we meet again.

Very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. Harold and I were close through High School and
after we left the military. Harold was closer to me than my own brother and his Mom was as close or closer than my own. A lesson to be learned, never let a real friendship wane, no matter how busy you are. As they say, "Time waits foe no one". Thanks Old Friend.

Dear Denia, Matt, Tammy and Scott and families,
I am very sorry for your loss.
Harold hired me as a young police officer over 40 years ago and I went on to have a career that was very fulfilling. I always remember his kindness and patience. Without that early opportunity he provided me, I would not have enjoyed those that followed.
Take care.
