Obituary of Carol Kuntzsch

Mrs. Carol Kuntzsch, 79, most recently of Highland Terrace, Fort Plain, NY, died on December 24, 2023, at her home surrounded by her husband and loving family.
She was born in Gloversville, NY, on May 20, 1944, the daughter of George Wager and Ellen Nicholes Wager.
Carol was part of the 1st class to graduate from Gloversville's new high school in the class of 1962.
She was a lifelong area resident and worked at Beech-Nut, retiring after 22 years.
Carol was a Reformed Church of Sprakers member and enjoyed being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
On June 25, 1977, at the St. John and St. Mark's Lutheran Church, she married Robert Kuntzsch, a union that lasted 46 years.
She was predeceased in death by her parents and siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Kuntzsch; daughters Robin (Marty Gardner) Jusenius and Stacey (Dan Garren) Kamp; son Dennis Kuntzsch; sister Janet Serviss; grandchildren Adam, Amber, Alicia, and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Madison, and Sebastian, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Houghtaling and Hanley Funeral Home, 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 1317.
