Ms. Elizabeth (Durfee) McFee, 59, of Otsquago Club Road, Fort Plain, New York died, Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. Born on February 12, 1949 in Little Falls, NY, she was the daughter of Robert McFee and Lois Simmons. Ms. McFee was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, class of 1967. She then graduated from SUNY Albany with a Bachelor's of Science degree on January 22, 1985. Most recently Elizabeth was the project management conductor for IBM. Previously, she was the project manager for Sterling Pharmaceuticals. Elizabeth spent most of her life in Fort Plain. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Fort Plain. She loved horseback riding and painting. Elizabeth is survived by both her parents, Robert McFee and Lois Simmons. She is also survived by her two daughters, Bobbie Jo Loske of Fort Plain, NY, Heather Siar of Boyertown, PA; four sisters, Marilyn Smith of Nelliston, NY, Deborah Edwards of Fort Plain, NY, Glenda Dillenbeck of Nelliston, NY, Sherry Sittlerly of Columbia, SC; brother, Robert McFee of Somer, NY. Also surviving are three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
