Obituary of Hazel K. Zeidner

Mrs. Hazel K. Zeidner, 72, of River Road, Fort Plain, New York died, April 17, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown following a short illness. Born on May 16, 1936 in Sprakers, NY, she was the daughter of John Faulkner and Catherine Dingman Faulkner. She had been a Fort Plain resident since 1992 and prior to that resided in Johnstown, NY. She attended schools in the Syracuse area. Mrs. Zeidner was a mother and homemaker. Mrs. Zeidner was a member of the Coons Hollow Club and the River Valley Tractor Club. On March 11, 2006 she married Edward K. Zeidner. Mrs. Zeidner was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Etherton on December 14, 1989; a sister, Stella Faulkner; and a brother, John Faulkner. Mrs. Zeidner is survived by her husband, Edward K. Zeidner of Fort Plain, NY; a daughter, Christine Etherton of Johnstown, NY; a son, Charles Etherton and his wife Wendy of Johnstown, NY; a step-daughter, Carol Swank of Canajoharie, NY; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Britney Etherton; five step-grandchildren, Amy, Stewart, Arthur, Adam, Christine; and several step-great-grandchildren.
