Q: What will you never forget about Kirk?
A: Kirk had a heart of good and would do anything for the people he cared about and even complete strangers he would help. He was always there me as we were growing up and traveling around the country. He was like a brother to me. RIP my friend!

Even in hospice you were fighting for all it was worth. Being able to be there when you woke up and managing to hear you squeak out a "Hi Hillary" with a smile will remain in my memory forever. Thank you for always wanting hear how work was going when I stopped by for one of the many unannounced visits. Thank you for always having a open door policy no matter what time of day it was. Thank you for just wanting to sit around and shoot the breeze while we roasted to death in the summer. I'm sorry I didn't take more photos of you enjoying life or your dinners. I'm sorry I made you and my aunt watch the old IT movie to which you kept saying how stupid it was and laughing about aunt Renee' having the blanket over her head. ( She was scared). Thank you for always paying me OVER generously to cut your hair or Kevin's hair. Thank you for being willing to help me load something into the car. Thank you for trusting me to babysit Kevin when he was little. Thank you for always genuinely being interested in what topics I was discussing. I'll miss seeing you speeding around on your lawn mower at a mock 80 trying to get the grass right. I'll miss sitting around your kitchen table while eating cookies and cream puffs. I'll miss how simple things used to be and I'll miss you laughing at my jokes. I'll miss my Uncle.

Kirk I am so sorry that you had to go through that illness. We don't always understand why things happen the way they do but God has a plan. He knew you were sick and suffering so he took you home to comfort you and love you. I have such good memories of when we were little kids and used to get together up at grandma and grandpa's farm. Those were the best days of our lives and we didn't even realize it. RIP cousin, I'll be thinking of you and I know someday We will meet again, love you. Aunt Marion and family, I know this is a difficult time for you. My love and my condolences to all of you. I will keep you in my prayers.

Sad to hear of the passing of my cousin Kirk, my condolences to his wife and son. I remember when Kirk came to live with me for a time in Austin Texas in the early 80's and he was looking for work there. Had some good times together
