To Peter and Family: We were shocked to learn of Joan's passing and just found out this evening (5/8/23) that she had gone on before you. We are truly sorry for your loss and would have paid our respects personally. Of course since living on Garfield Street for 67 years, we knew J Joan's family as our neighbors.. Q: How did you meet Joan? A: Joan and my sister, Linda Kapp were friends in school. I was younger but was always hanging around the older kids with Linda. Pete was great friends with my cousin Bill Dutcher. Had great times. Sorry for your lost, my sister, Linda passed on 6/8/2022.

we will always remember the great times we had when you and peter were camping--we laughed so hard when we were out on the raft--every time rich got on, you slid off-even the people watching were laughing--one of my best times--rest peacefully

I asked my mom Nancy not long ago what her favorite childhood memory was of her sister Joan and with a moments thought she said… “the day mom brought home my baby sister Joan for the first time.” I cried when she told me and I cry now as I write it.
