Obituary of Ana E. Barner

Mrs. Ana E. Barner, 75, of W. Grand Street, Palatine Bridge, Ny died at home on February 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in Quito, Ecuador, on September 30, 1947, the daughter of the late Jose A. Garcia and Carmen Amelia Vargas.

Recently she retired from her family's restaurant, Gabriana's Pizza and Pasta. 

Ana was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, of Central Bridge.

Ana loved spending time with her family and friends when not at work, but especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, which was her passion and the love of her life.

On April 10, 1992 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints in Central Bridge, NY she married Roger Barner. 

She was predeceased by her two sisters, Theresa and Lucy.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Barner; Sons Steve and his wife Keli Gomez and Edward Gomez; brother Jose B. Garcia, sister Magdelena Ruckwardt; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a large extended family.

The family will be planning a celebration of Ana's life at a later date, the time and date to be announced then.
