Obituary of Charlotte S. Walts

Mrs. Charlotte S. Walts, 99 formerly of St. Hwy 10, Palatine Bridge, died on Friday afternoon December 30, 2022 peacefully at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home.

She was born on December 9, 1923 in Fort Plain, Ny the daughter of Wilbur Saltsman and Leta Nellis Saltsman. 

Mrs. Walts was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, class of 1939, and also a graduate of the Albany Business College. 

On October 28, 1944 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Palatine Bridge, NY she married Edward C. Walts, he predeceased her on May 31, 2006. 

She was a lifetime area resident and was a mother and homemaker. She also was a member of the Montgomery County Farm Bureau, the Stone Arabia Grange, and the Ladies Aide Society of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy A. Walts and her partner Brian O'Neill, her son Thomas Walts and his wife Mindy, her grandson Cory and his wife Ashlee, her grandson Brian and his wife Julie, and five great grandchildren; Davis, Cooper, Lauren, Carley and Taylor.         

The family will be holding a private service in the spring.
