Mary C. Collins, Mimi for those who she was closer to, 89 of Maple Ave. Canajoharie, NY passed away peacefully in her home with family at her bedside on Friday June 17th, 2022.

 

Born on June 2nd, 1933, the daughter of William and Mary Alice Mowrey in Palatine Bridge, NY sharing her childhood with her only sibling Bill Mowrey who predeceased her.

 

On July 1st, 1956, she married Sheldon (Skip) Collins. she was a business owner with her husband Skippy (Duffy's Tavern), for many years. She then went onto work as the office manager at LaSalle Labs for many more years until retiring. Then Skippy and her enjoyed RV traveling. She enjoyed doing her puzzles, and spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great granddaughters who she cared for all their lives.

 

Mary is survived by her four children, Barbara (Dean) Riggi, Steven (Duffy), Michelle (Alan) Dean, Sheldon Collins and Guy Jordon; 4 grandchildren, Larry (Lisa) Dean, Tony Riggi, Dan Riggi and Marissa (Nicholas) Georgelas; 2 great-granddaughters, Kayla and Rileigh Dean as well as several nieces, nephews and a few cousins.

 

There will be a graveside service of at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Canajoharie, NY on Monday June 27, 2022, at 1:00PM. following the inurnment service the family will be welcoming everyone to the Ames Vol. Fire Dept for a Celebration of Life.
