You were the love of my Mom’s life. Her “John Wayne” as she would say. We always felt safe with you… Any time I was afraid to do something new you would say “Now would I ever let anything bad happen to you? Now go on, I’m right here.” so I went and I grew into a somewhat stubborn young lady. I like to think I got that from you. Thank you for all that you taught me, for long horse back rides as you rode on the edge of the saddle so I could sit in the front and see everything but mostly, thank you for loving us. I’m grateful for our last conversation and wish I knew of your passing when it happened so I could have been there for your services but sadly I found out too late. Rest peacefully and I hope you and my Mom have found each other again. I love you, Jack and I will always carry you in my heart! Love always, the “boss”
