Mr. Thomas D. Cerny, beloved husband of Mona Cerny, who reside on St. Rt 80, Fort Plain passed away on Friday July 9, 2021 at their home. He was born on February 20, 1990, the son of Thomas H. Cerny and Bobbie Jo Loske. Thomas was a graduate of Herkimer High School. Most recently he was working for Perrone Aerospace in Fultonville, NY. When he wasn't spending time with his family he could be found playing World of War Craft, Learning about his Viking heritage, knowing he was somehow born to be in the water, hiking and enjoying the outdoors, enjoying music or playing guitar, or fixing stuff for family and friends, and was also a self proclaimed mac and cheese connoisseur. On June 4, 2016 in the Town of Minden he was united in marriage to Mona Cleary. In 2018 he was pre-deceased by his sister Victoria Lynn Wiley. He is survived by his loving wife Mona Cerny; Mother Bobbie Jo Loske; Father Thomas H. Cerny; Sons Jonathan Cleary and Benjamin Ryerson; Daughter Jillian Ryerson; Brother Michael Loske; Sister Kelci Cerny; Special Niece Elizabeth VanDyke; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday July 17th, 2021 from 1:00-2:00 PM at the Gray-Houghtaling and Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.
