Mrs. Pauline E. Tripp, 70, of State Highway 163, Buel, New York died Sunday, June 13, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 4, 1950 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Paul Adamek and Caroline Miller Adamek. She was a graduate of Linton High School, Class of 1969 and spent most of her life in the local area. Pauline was Accounting Manager for LeePub from 2008-2021. She was the former office worker/bookkeeper for Agway in Fort Plain for 23 years. She was an active member of Freysbush Methodist Church. Mrs. Tripp was a member of the former Mid-County Volunteer Ambulance, and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys. On December 7, 2001 Pauline married Bradley Tripp at their home. Her parents predeceased her. Pauline is survived by her husband, Bradley Tripp of Buel; daughters, Kari, Jolene; son, Patrick; sister, Marcia Adamek; brother, Paul Adamek and Margaret; grandchildren, Dylan, Derrik, Hailee, Ezra; and her beloved Golden Retriever, Boston. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 10:00AM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4:00-7:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Freysbush Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Pauline E. Tripp may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078.
