Mr. Larry G. Fox, 70, of Lafayette Street, Palatine Bridge, New York died Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, following a brief illness. Born on March 27, 1950 in Little Falls, NY, he was the son of Leslie Fox and Lucille Lyons Fox. He was a graduate of Fort Plain High School, Class of 1968 and was a lifelong area resident. Most recently Larry worked for Barton Enterprises. He also worked for Amsterdam Print and for LifeSavers, as a printer, from his high school graduation until the mid 1980’s. Larry liked old cars, he had two ’69 GTO’s and a ’70 Nova; RC Racing Cars at Florian’s Track, music, and watching TV. He enjoyed his grandkids. His parents, brothers, Russell and Leslie, Jr. predeceased him. Larry is survived by his daughter, Tennille Fox; son, Michael Fox and Jillian; grandchildren, Preston Priddle (Amelia), Alicia Priddle, Andrew Barber; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Marlene and Harry Maves; brother, Paul Fox; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 6:00-8:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317. Burial will take place in Ephratah Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mr. Larry G. Fox may be made to Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter, Inc., 133 Hilltop Road, Sprakers, NY 12166.
