Mr. Brett S. Prevost, 63, of Clyde Street, Gloversville, New York died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born on July 22, 1957 in Malone, NY, he was the son of the late Robert Prevost and Joan Lyons Staring. He was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School, Class of 1976. He had been a resident of Gloversville for the past 5 years, previously residing in Fort Plain. He was an avid bowler when he was younger, even bowling a 300, perfect game. He enjoyed his Harley and fast cars. He also liked to golf. Brett worked for Benjamin Moore in Johnstown, NY as a Supervisor, Assistant, and Mixer for the past 13 years. On July 12, 1990 in Fort Plain, Brett was married to Phyllis Cook. In addition to his parents, his brother, Kurt Prevost also predeceased him. Mr. Prevost is survived by his wife, Phyllis Prevost; daughter, Brittni Prevost; step-children, Busch Brock, Briar Brock, Clarissa Haight; brother, Bob Prevost; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 1:00PM at The Chapel of Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, Inc., 20 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY.
