Mrs. Marlene M. Blair, 78, of Canal Street, Fort Plain, New York passed away, Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at her daughter’s home, following a short illness. Born on July 26, 1941, she was the daughter of Harry Hotaling and Beatrice Baxter Hotaling. She was a graduate of Canajoharie High School, Class of 1959 and was a lifetime area resident. Most recently Mrs. Blair worked at the Route 80 Bowl in VanHornesville, NY. She also worked for Lee Publications in the Ad Layout Department for Country Folks Magazine. Marlene loved BINGO and playing cards. She also enjoyed crocheting and reading. On February 27, 1960 in Marshville, NY, Marlene was married to Roger C. Blair. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1984. Her brother, Harry Hotaling, Jr. also predeceased her. Mrs. Blair is survived by her 3 sons, Paul Blair and Laurie of Sprakers, NY, Matthew Blair and Deborah of Albany, GA, Brett Blair of Fort Plain, NY; 2 daughters, Ann Tabor and Brad of Boswell, IN, Nancy Swartz and Karl of Fort Plain, NY; sisters, Beverly Parslow, Crystal Barnes; twin brothers, Dannie Hotaling and David Hotaling; longtime companion, Ralph Frost, Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
