Mrs. Loretta Rose Beyer, 77, of Mary Street, Palatine Bridge, New York died Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born on April 24, 1942 in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of Donald J. Beyer, Sr. and Alta Rose Hawk Beyer. She lived most of her life in the local area, spending some time in Florida. Loretta worked as a housekeeper for motels in Panama City, Florida and in a knitting mill in Fonda. She also worked for an Animal Rescue in Florida, a job she truly had a passion for. She loved all animals, especially her last dog, Poppy. She enjoyed watching NBA. She loved going to Music on Main Street and in the park, Stone Soup was one of her favorites to listen to. She liked going on the computer to talk to friends and watch Safari. She also enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds. Her parents and a baby sister predeceased her. Loretta is survived by her longtime companion, Greg Erhardt of Fort Plain, NY; daughters, Christine Dennis of Mohawk, NY, Diane and her husband, Richard Howell of Canajoharie, NY, Bonnie and her husband, Randy Howell of Clinton, NC, Debra VanBuren of Ilion, NY; siblings, Robert Beyer, Donald Beyer, Jr., David Beyer, Carolyn Beyer, Ted Beyer, Clifford Beyer, Raymond Beyer; 15 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place at Fort Plain Cemetery.
