Mr. Keith M. Coll, 59, of H. Gray Road, Fort Plain, New York died unexpectedly, Monday, March 20, 2017. Born on May 26, 1957 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Charles Alfred Dodge and Janet Mae Smith Coll. He was a graduate of William Tennent Senior High School in Warminster, PA, Class of 1975. He had been a resident of the Fort Plain area since November 2013, previously residing in Malvern, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the US Navy serving from 1979 to 1983, obtaining the rank of Personnelman First Class. Mr. Coll enjoyed auto mechanics, welding, and horse racing. He was of Catholic faith. Mr. Coll is survived by his mother, Janet Mae Smith of Pennsylvania; 4 children, RoseAnn and Chad Spaulding of Fort Plain, NY, Jamie and Paul Finley of Florida, Keith Michael Coll, Jr. of South Carolina, Kenneth L. Coll of Florida; sisters, Margaret, Elizabeth, Dawn, Debbie; brother, Jimmy Coll; 15 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00am at The Chapel of Gray-Houghtaling & Smith Funeral Home, 34 Center Street, Fort Plain, NY with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 1 from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home. Military Honors will be provided following the funeral service at the funeral home by the Fort Plain VFW Memorial Squad and active duty Navy.
